Do you need assistance with finding tools and services available to improve the impact of your research?  The library induction session for researchers and academic staff is designed to give practical assistance in finding tools and services available to help you improve the impact of your research.

 Outcomes

Depending on your needs, an introduction for researchers and academic staff part 2 will have the following outcomes:

·         Knowledge of where to publish your research for better impact in some subject-specific research areas

·         Tools available to measure impact of research in some subject-specific research areas, e.g. citation analysis

·         Learn what ResearcherID is and how this tool can help you build a publication list of your published research that can be made public or kept private

·         How to order new books in your subject discipline

·         Learn what SunScholar is and how it can archive your research

·         Understand what other research support the library has to offer
