Computer-Aided Design: Introduction In-Person

Introduction to Computer-Aided Design using Tinkercad.  This design software facilitates drawing models in 2D or 3D. Developed models can be sent to be manufactured by a 3D printer or to a laser cutter printer. The benefits of CAD are that it is easy to modify the model and to integrate with other CAD applications.

Participants will also learn:

  • How to create a user profile in Autodesk.
  • Introduction to Computer Aided Design using Tinkercad.
  • Design a basic project in Tinkercad
  • How to export a basic project that can be used for 3D printing
