Virtual Reality: Introduction In-Person

This workshop will introduce the fundamentals of Virtual Reality using a Meta Oculus Headset. How to become familiar in a 3D environment and learn concepts like application selection for 3D modelling, 3D environments, VR gaming and entertainment etc.

Participants will also learn:

  • How to create a user profile for Meta Quest.
  • Mapping out a safe VR environment.
  • How to do become familiar with the home environment and the Meta app store.
  • Exploring applications that are related to 3D design and modelling by creating and manipulating 3D objects, social interaction spaces, travel, gaming etc.
