Library Research Week 2025: Capture, enhance and evaluate your research impact Online

Description:
Five main themes will be addressed during this presentation:

An introduction and definition of Research Impact and why it is important as a researcher to improve your impact.

An overview of the different types of impact will be discussed (academic, policy, societal, health, etc.)

Then there will be a section on how to create impact. Here the importance of writing articles for great impact and how to choose the right journal for publishing will form part of the content.

Promote your work. An overview of academic social networking tools and other ways of promoting your work will be showcased.

How to measure your research impact. An overview of the different research metrics and different tools for research evaluation will finally be demonstrated.
