Introduction to EndNote for reference management (Webinar) Online

EndNote offers various services, including reference management, and adding citations to your research paper. In this session, we will show you how to download and install EndNote and set-up your account.

Outcomes:

Participants will:

  • Understand what EndNote is and its role in managing references for academic writing
  • Successfully download, install, and set up EndNote on your device 
  • Create an EndNote library
  • Create an online EndNote account
  • Learn to import references from one or two online databases
  • Manually enter a reference
  • Using In Microsoft Word, create a document, insert in-text citations and generate a reference list
  • Learn how to select and apply a citation tyle for your document
  • Gain confidence in managing PDFs within EndNote (attach, annotate, and organise)
