Introduction to Research Data Management In-Person
This introductory workshop is designed to assist you with general background on how to manage your research data, including an overview of the Research Data Management (RDM) lifecycle. It will also give you an introduction on Data Management Planning and some advice on where to deposit your data.
Outcomes:
Participants will:
- Understand the RDM lifecycle
- Learn the basics of Data Management Planning
- Be aware of the latest developments on RDM and what the requirements of funders like the NRF are
- Be aware of where you can deposit your data
