By accessing and watching the pre-recorded self-study material Systematic review: Value and types of systematic reviews part 1 (46:50min) and Systematic reviews: How to find systematic reviews - part 2 (1:34) participants will learn the following:
- what a literature review is and the different types
- the literature review process:
- working with your topic to find relevant literature
- examples of ways to structure your literature review
- how to critically analyse literature
- brief search tips
After watching the two abovementioned videos in your own time, come to a live Q&A session (online) with Dr M.E. Visser, Senior researcher; Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care, Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Department of Global Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SU.
During this session you and other participants can engage with Dr Visser around the content and clarify anything that is not clear after having gone through the above two pre-recorded YouTube videos before attending the Q&A session.
