Introduction to the Stellenbosch University Library Makerspace In-Person

This introduction to the new Library Makerspace will help you to determine which of the services and equipment you would find useful and how to get further training to:

  • Create 3D printed models
  • Scan objects using a 3D scanner
  • Using an Arduino and Raspberry Pi
  • Using the Soldering Station
  • Basic Electronics and using an Oscilloscope

Participants will also learn:

  • What digital literacy is and how the Makerspace supports it
  • Safety rules to follow when using Makerspace equipment and tools
  • Makerspace policies
